Let Jesus Change Your Diaper July 19.17

Diaper pic article.jpg

As a mom, I change my baby’s diaper many times a day. I know that it is only a matter of time before I get one with the grand prize: Poop!

People may think that I dread changing his diaper, but I enjoy that time. I get to comfort him, clean him up thoroughly, put baby lotion on him so that he smells good, and even put on him a fresh set of clothes. No matter how many times he poops, I will always be there gladly with open arms to clean him up and to demonstrate to him that he is deeply loved. I sure many of you mommies can relate.

But many of us are like younger babies who are unaware that they are sitting in a big pile of poop. Others are like slightly older babies who don’t want to get their diaper changed because they are uncomfortable or ashamed. Maybe you committed a murder that no one found out about, you stole, said a curse word, or done things that are so shameful that you determined that you will take your secrets to the grave.

Well let me ask you something; How do you feel when you see that your child is feeling uncomfortable, feeling dirty, is hurt, or in need of need of new clothes? Do you feel angry or annoyed? No! God is not surprised at your sin problem. He not only knows it’s there, but he created a way to clean you up and give you new clothes!

Let me tell you, if you trust in him, he will remove your dirty diaper and he will not only clean you up, but will give you a new fragrance and a fresh set of clothes. So, let Jesus change your diaper. He wants to be that loving parent to you.

When Baby Snakes Bite Your Heels July 18.17

Heels pic

I just woke up from a dream. In the dream, baby snakes were sent out against me and my family and they were biting our heels.

I got up and prayed against this attack in the name of Jesus.

Immediately after, Genesis 3:15 came to mind: New International Version (NIV)

15 And I will put enmity
between you and the woman,
and between your offspring[a] and hers;
he will crush[b] your head,
and you will strike his heel.”

I always wondered what this scripture meant. I took this to mean that our spiritual enemy Satan will attack us and may cause some damage, but for those in Christ Jesus we will have the final victory in that we will in the end have total and complete victory over Satan.  Can anyone one help interpret this scripture?

Dear loved ones, whenever you make any attempt to draw near to God, you will always experience attacks. Some of you may get nightmares, spiritual attacks, or have problems in your waking life. These are the enemy’s attacks against your life because he hates that you are seeking Jesus and because he knows that his time is very short.  The end of his reign over the earth is quickly approaching and he knows it.

So, never be afraid dear family. You have complete and total victory in Christ Jesus. Complete peace and total victory in any and every situation is your birthright if you are a Child of the Most High.

Because of My Mom’s Prayers July 16.17

Because Of My Moms Prayers Pic.jpg

Because of my mom’s prayers, I survived my time when I was homeless and pregnant.

Because of my mom’s prayers, I survived my short-lived addiction to meth.

Because of my mom’s prayers, I survived strong witch-craft that was sent to destroy me.

Because of my mom’s prayers, I overcame strong compulsions to commit suicide.

Because of my mom’s prayers, my face was not cut with a razor and my body thrown in the ocean.

Because of my mom’s prayers, I was spared from being a victim of human trafficking.

Because of my mom’s prayers, I was spared from prostitution in the streets.

Because of my mom’s prayers, I didn’t die from pneumonia.

Because of my mom’s prayers, my baby was born happy and healthy.

Because of my mom’s prayers, today I have a sound mind.

Because of my mom’s prayers, I am alive to write how I am blessed because of My Mom’s Prayers.

Letter to Those Healing from Sexual Assault–July 15 2017

Me Pic Victims Of SA pic

I know you feel confused, you feel despair, you feel broken and hopeless. Without value.

But let me speak to your heart. You WILL get through this.

Yes, people may see you as a victim. But what happened to you does not define who you are. You define who you are.

You are a person who is now going through a healing process and you are trying to find your way.

Understand sweetie, that healing takes time. You WILL get through this.

When wounds are fresh, you need to quickly attend to it. So, take care of yourself in this time. Take things at your own pace.

Cry when you want to cry. When you feel the waves of depression, understand that they will eventually subside. What you are feeling is normal.

In time, you will have developed scars which will be reminders of the past.

Whenever something like this happens, you will eventually reach a point where you must make a critical decision to go down one of two roads; Forgiveness and growth, or unforgiveness and hatred.

Unforgiveness will make your pain much worse and you will never heal and grow. As much as you may want revenge, understand that forgiveness is the best revenge. Why? You may ask. Let me explain;

When you forgive, you release that person from your heart so you can move on, at the same time you unleash God’s fierce vengeance. And if you truly understand the severity of God’s vengeance you will be asking God to forgive the person who hurt you.

When you choose forgiveness, you will heal faster and may even use your pain to heal other people who are in your shoes because you understand where they are coming from.

So, choose forgiveness love. You WILL get through this.

Psalm 34:18

The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

I created this blog to help people in their personal relationship with the Lord. I am a counselor at heart and my desire is to see people’s’ hearts healed in various areas through sharing my writings, and for people to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Psalm 34:18 is one of my favorite scriptures because it is when one is in a state of broken heartedness that the Lord comes in to heal and restore people’s hearts. -Judy-
